HERITAGE DEMONSTRATION

TRADITIONAL BREAD MAKING
WEDNESDAY 19TH JUNE
7PM – 8PM

Come along and enjoy an evening of watching a direct descendent of Hanna’s Close demonstrating how to bake soda bread the traditional way! Of course you will also get to taste test the finished product hot off the griddle, and you will go home with your own copy of the recipe to try yourself.

This workshop takes place on site in Tommy’s Cottage, and tea/coffee will also be served throughout the evening.

We are running workshops/demonstrations of heritage skills, crafts and trades. This is to highlight the traditional goings-on from the by-gone days at Hanna’s Close and showcase the amazing range of activities that were once a part of everyday life for our residents.
