Our cottages are less than two hours from Belfast or Dublin, one of Northern Ireland’s hidden gems for intimate weddings. The Mourne Mountains and Slieve Binnian provide an amazing backdrop for photos and for socialising with your guests.
With exclusive use of the cottages and grounds you can plan your perfect wedding to reflect your own personality.
Marriage Licences are obtained through Newry, Mourne and Down Council.

We can recommend providers who have worked with us in the past and who know our location and all of its possibilities. Hire of Marquees, tepees, caterers, florists and musicians. The grounds and cottages can be decorated to reflect your chosen theme for the “Big Day”.
Beautiful mature trees provide a luscious green background for those special bridal party photos.
Any bride couldn’t resist having their photos taken in front of the cottages with their brightly coloured doorways with half doors.
If the weather becomes inclement photos can be taken inside one of the cottages with a roaring fire in the open granite fireplace.

Our cottages are beneath the majestic Mourne Mountains allowing you to walk from the door and be top of the world a few hours later.
Hanna’s Close has seven traditional cottages from one to three bedrooms, all teeming with traditional features. From stone walls to feature fire
places, holidaying in history is an immediate reality. Five cottages are located in the Close. The Carthouse, The Barn and The Stables are one bedroom cottages. Two Bedroom Cottages include William John’s and George’s. Not in the Close, but a short distance
away is Murphy’s (two bedroom) and Callaghan’s (three bedroom)
